I offer tutored lacemaking holidays in carefully selected venues in the U.K. and Europe.My aim is to give you the opportunity to pursue your hobby in the company of other lacemakers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and with the guidance and assistance of an experienced tutor. This is combined with opportunities for you to explore and enjoy the local area.

Cumbria 24th - 28th April Abbot Hall Hotel , Grange-over-Sands
Four day pre-Easter break in beautiful southern Lakeland overlooking Morcambe Bay.Price includes Four nights Dinner,Bed and Breakfast in en-suite rooms, tuition included. No single supplement.
The hotel is easily accessable from the M6 by car and also by train to Kents Bank Station. The Quaker Tapestry at Kendal is only a short drive, whilst a little further afield at Coniston is the wonderful collection of Ruskin Lace.

1st - 7th July Sidholme Hotel, Sidmouth
The stunning Georgian sea front at Sidmouth is just the place for a refreshing evening stroll after a day of lacemaking and is only a short walk from the hotel, or if you wish there is plenty of sea front parking. On non lace days the hotel organises visits by coach which are open to all residents. We are planning to visit Honiton to view the museums excellent collection of Honiton lace.
Fully inclusive. Six nights Dinner, Bed and Breakfast/all lunches(Mon-Fri) either taken at the hotel or as a packed lunch to take out
and tuition.

18th - 25th July Les Carroz , French Alps
The Alpine Experience. Beautiful chalet accommodation, fabulous food and a workroom with a view to die for.The price includes en-suite rooms, all food taken at the chalet, tuition, airport transfers and transport for days out (oh, and use of the hot tub!) Meals are taken in Chalet Calluna, whilst tuition takes place in Chalet Eric( next door but one to the main venue and rooms here are slightly cheaper). Currency conversions here are approximate and subject to fluctuation.
There is a 10% reduction if a deposit of £150.00 is paid by end Dec.2011
